Description
As POP Yoshimura used to say, "Power up and lighten the weight of an air-cooled large displacement bike", and this lightweight camshaft for the GSX1100S is the result of modern technology. The large diameter hollowing process (see photo), which requires extremely advanced technology, has resulted in a weight reduction of approximately 20% (600g) for two camshafts. Combined with the gyroscopic effect, the accelerator response has been improved. Furthermore, the barrel polishing process on the surface reduces friction loss and increases durability.
