    Description

    This is the upgrade kit for SP Takegawa S stage big bore kit to 17R stage E-head.

    SP Takegawa S-stage Big Bore Kit uses the same cylinder and sports camshaft used in the 106cc SCUT and upgrades to the 17R stage E-head specification, so you can step up to a high power engine at a reasonable price.

    After stepping up to the 17R Stage E, you can also step up to the 17R Stage +D by purchasing optional parts to further increase the power output.

    ■17R Stage E Cylinder Head
    Based on the stock head shape, large diameter valve intake: 26mm / exhaust: Adopt 22.5mm.
    (12V Monkey stock valve diameter is intake: 19mm / exhaust: 16mm)
    This is SP Takegawa's original cylinder head which adopts the most suitable valve pinching angle, combustion chamber shape and port shape for large diameter valves.
    The port diameter of the stock head is 14mm for both intake and exhaust, while the port diameter of the 17R stage is 14mm for intake and exhaust: 24.5mm / exhaust: Larger diameter of 19mm.
    In addition, the adoption of a 3-dimensional port shape, combined with the larger diameter of the valve and port, makes it possible for more intake and exhaust gases to flow smoothly.
    Valve: (Intake 26mm / Exhaust 22.5mm Valve stem shaft diameter 4.5mm)
    The weight increase due to the larger diameter of the valve is kept to a minimum by the narrower stem shaft and waist machining.
    Valve Springs: The single valve spring with unequal pitch (2-stage pitch) is adopted for optimum spring rate and suppresses surging at high rpm.

    Caution

    *The step up is possible only when using the S-stage big bore kit 106cc SCUT of the target model, and cannot be installed when using the S-stage of a different model (such as 6V vehicle).
    *For Monkey R / RT, you must use the rocker arm that comes with the S-stage.
    *This kit uses the same cylinders and sports camshafts used in the S-stage, but please do not reuse parts that are beyond the limit of use due to wear.
    *Modification of the carburetor, clutch, etc. is required due to the change of the cylinder head.
    *There may be changes in product specifications due to the manufacturer's reasons.

    *Depending on the lot, the product may be delivered with the old price and label with the old JAN code before the price change.
