Description
This socket is for loosening the double hexagonal front (rear) axle hub nuts used on TOYOTA and European vehicles with an impact wrench.
The depth of the bore and the outer circumference are designed to fit the hub.
This is a semi-deep type that does not interfere with the drive shaft thread.
KTC original pin release prevention mechanism "AMBAC System" is used.
The center of gravity of the pin is shifted from the axis of rotation to the wall side, so that the centrifugal force is always applied to the wall side and the pin is prevented from jumping out.
Centrifugal force keeps the pins from flying!
Safe work in combination with KTC impact wrench sockets!
The original pin release prevention mechanism AMBAC system PAT.
Comparison with conventional products
Sockets for impact wrenches are fixed to the anvil (drive angle) with a pin and ring to prevent them from being detached from the power tool when in use.
However, there was a risk that the pins would be ejected by centrifugal force.
KTC has developed a mechanism to prevent the pin from being ejected by shifting the center of gravity of the pin from the axis of rotation to the wall side so that the centrifugal force is always applied to the wall side.
This is the AMBAC system.
Ambac mark
AMBAC is an acronym for Anti-disconnect Mechanism By Availing of Centrifugal force.
