Viñales takes his second P.P. of the season.A.Rins qualified 2nd on the front row for the first time in the highest class.The holeshot in the rainy race was taken by Rins, who has been in good form this season.On lap seven M. Marquez crashed out of the race and a number of other riders followed.As the rain started to fall, race leader Rins lost his line on lap 14 and went down a position.A.Dovizioso raises his hand to show the crowd that he is in danger.The race is red-flagged and race two will take place.Valentino Rossi was in good form in Race 2 as he was in Race 1, qualifying 16th, but crashed out of the first race of the season.After crashing and restarting in Race 1, P.Espargaro rode well to give KTM its first podium finish in the highest class.Takaaki Nakagami started 14th but finished 6th, the highest of the Indepen-dent team.
