A UV filter is a lens protection filter that blocks ultraviolet rays. When ultraviolet rays are scattered by dust in the atmosphere, for example, mountains in the distance may not be seen as clearly as they appear. Protects against debris, scratches, dirt and abrasions and cracks, and prevents physical damage to the front of the lens.
This ultra thin and transparent filter prevents distortions common to cheap filters and lets you take clear images. It's very simple to use, just attach the filter along the threaded edge of the lens.
