Description
Simple model of cage for 500ml PET bottles
This is a simplified version of the holder for 500ml PET bottles and small bottles of the same diameter that can be easily obtained at convenience stores.
Unlike the AB-500, which has a rubber ring, the AB-500 bottle cage simply plugs in and out like a standard bottle cage, making it easy to install and remove with one hand.
The unique round shape of the backrest holds the bottle securely and prevents it from swaying.
Material is flexible 5056 light alloy.
Caution
*For use with 500ml PET bottles and bottles of the same diameter.Polyethylene bottles for bicycles cannot be used due to their different diameters.*Not compatible with some square shaped bottles.In addition, it is not possible to hold a bottle with a constricted shape in the center, such as Coca-Cola.
*Not compatible with metal cans.
*Mounting bolts are not included.Use the bolts supplied with the bike.

*Unlike polyethylene bottles for bicycles, there is no standard size for PET bottles.The shape and volume of the bottle varies according to the manufacturer and type, and the diameter varies accordingly.
*The opening of the PC-500 was set at 70mm in diameter as a standard size at the time of its design, but since the current PET bottles in circulation are only 63-65mm in diameter due to the decrease in their contents, it is likely that the PC-500 will be unsteady when a bottle is inserted.
*Because the PC-500 is a metal bottle cage, it is possible to narrow or widen the opening by pushing or pulling the cage by hand if the size does not fit as described above.This is one of the advantages of metal bottle cages that plastic or carbon bottle cages cannot match.
*When changing the size of the bottle cage, do not bend it too many times.It may cause metal fatigue and breakage of the body.
