Solid for iPhone6/S Plus

It's been 4 years and 6 months since the GILD Design development team started making and selling cases for the iPhone 3GS in March 2010.
Our concept of "Protecting your smartphone" has remained unchanged since we started developing iPhone cases.
The bumper for iPhone6/SPlus was also designed and manufactured under the theme of "easier to use and more protective", seeking "normal evolution" without any peculiar changes.
To be more specific, "easier to use and more protection" means "stress-free operability" and "structure that can withstand accidental drops and deflection loads".
For the first time, we brought the iPhone 6/S to a public institution for a refraction test and confirmed the superiority of the GILD Design Bumper.

The case is made of solid duralumin called "A2017" which is used for aviation, space and racing parts.
We use duralumin A2017S made by Furukawa-Sky (UACJ Co., Ltd.), which is said to be the highest quality among them.

We sometimes get an opinion from a customer that "all of GILD Design's cases have 4 corners and they don't look different from each other".
When a smartphone falls, it usually tilts and falls from one of the four corners.
Commonly used "Aluminum case with same thickness in all four corners" may be deformed by the shock of dropping.
GILD Design's cases are designed with stress analysis by 3D CAD, and above all, actual drop tests are conducted many times to make sure that the case can be used without deformation even if it is dropped many times.
The design of a "case that is easy to use and protects," ended up with that shape.
The GILD Design case is not fancy looking, and is a bit of a hassle since it is bolted on and off.
Even so, we prioritized "stress-free operability" and "a structure that can withstand accidental drops and refraction loads".
We want to protect your iPhone for at least 2 years even if your GILD Design case is falling apart.

The prototype was completed after repeated trial and error so that it would be comfortable and easy to hold even when mounted on the iPhone 6/SPlus.The earphone jack, lightning cable, and volume buttons are all designed so that they do not affect the operability of the device.
Of course, Apple OEM cable can be used.The design allows the use of cables other than stock ones.
IPhone 6/SPlus compatible case also comes with a strap hole as standard equipment.A strap can be attached to the bottom left of the front so it won't get in the way during calls.You can put it in your pocket smoothly.
The diameter of the earphone jack attachment part is designed to be as large as 8.5mm.
Commercially available earphone jack cover or GILD Design earphone jack cover (Model Number: GA-200) can be installed at the same time.
Color Bolt Set (model number: GI-305) sold separately has the same bolt size and can be used for iPhone6, iPhoneSPlus cases.
