◆Function details◆
■Forward Angle Mode
5 different programs are available for all types of engines, from standard to tuned, regardless of whether they are 2-valve or 4-valve.
The fixing hole of the pickup sensor is a long hole, and the maximum advance angle can be set arbitrarily from 20 degrees to 40 degrees.The pickup is equipped with two sensors, and the difference of the ignition timing can be adjusted individually.
■Safety interlock
With the input code of the safety interlock, it is possible to cut the ignition to prevent theft or to kill the side stand.
Cut off the ignition of the DYNA2000 by grounding the input cord.
Depending on the wiring, it can be used together with anti-theft devices.
■Test mode
It lights up as an indicator when the engine is running, and it also lights up when the ignition timing is adjusted, and when it is cranked manually.
The ignition plug can be removed from the engine and the ignition plug can be actually discharged, and it is equipped with a program that is useful when diagnosing errors in the ignition system.
■Active RPM
It can be used for the electronic parts which are controlled by the rotation speed such as shift light which turns on / off the electric current at the set rotation speed.
The factory default setting is 2 channels: ON between 6.000 and 6.500 rpm, and ON between 7.000 and 7.500 rpm. By using PC programming, the setting can be changed in 100 rpm increments for more detailed control.
■Slow Angle Mode
Four different setting programs are available to prevent detonation when equipped with Turbo Nitro.
It can be used by connecting a boost switch or solenoid switch to the dedicated cord for slow start and setting the advance dial to slow start mode.
■Overvoltage protection
When the input voltage to the system is 20V or more, the protect function is automatically activated and the power supply is cut to protect the system.When the ignition is turned off and then on again and the input voltage returns to normal, the protect function is reset and the system operates normally.
■Timing lights
It lights up as an indicator when the engine is running, and it also lights up when it is cranked manually when adjusting the ignition timing.
DYNA2000 cranks the engine manually without starting it, and sets the ignition timing based on the lighting on and off of this timing light.
■Reprogramming
By using PC programming, ignition program, rev limit, etc. can be set in more detail according to the vehicle.
The optional programming kit can be used to rewrite the factory settings for advance angle, retard angle, rev limit and active RPM.
■Rev limiter
8. The speed can be set arbitrarily every 500 rpm from 8.500-16.000 rpm to prevent over-revving in the event of an unexpected shift error or transmission failure.
By using PC programming, it is possible to change the setting every 100 rpm more finely.
■Data Log Function
The number of engine starts, total hours of operation, total hours of rev limit operation, and total hours of engine operation per 500 rpm are always recorded, and can be controlled and reset by using PC programming.
■Digital tachometer
The digital pulse output code enables electric tachometer and rotation control.
Two types of signal codes, one for one pulse per revolution and the other for two pulses per revolution, are provided to enable use with a variety of electric tachometers.Even if the rev limiter is activated, the actual crank speed is output as a pulse signal.
