Features of the plug
These plugs are designed to withstand severe conditions such as high combustion temperatures and explosion pressures, and their superiority has been recognized in domestic and international four-wheel and two-wheel races such as F-1, WRC, and MotoGP.
It is a high heat value plug for high compression, high rotation, and high output engines.
These plugs are used under severe conditions such as full throttle acceleration, continuous ultra-high rotation, and high-speed operation.
In addition to easy sparking, good ignition performance, and good acceleration, these plugs are trouble-free.
Because the plugs are used under severe conditions, the plugs with the following electrode materials and shapes are used.
The effect differs depending on the bike.
For the plug terminal shape
Select a plug terminal shape that is suitable for the engine and plug cord installation side.
There are three types of plug terminal shapes: integrated type, separate type, screw type, and punch and caulk type.
The "integrated" and "punch-and-caulk" types are mainly used for automobiles, while the "screw" type is used for motorcycles.
The terminalpart of the "separate type" plug can be removed, but the terminalpart of the "integrated type" and "punch-and-caulk type" plugs cannot be removed. If you try to remove it forcibly, the terminalpart may break.
If you want to use the "separate type" as the "screw type", remove the terminalnut.
When using the plug with the terminal nut attached, make sure it is not loose, and if it is, tighten it lightly with pliers.
Features of NGK plugs
- Super "wide range" plug.
The center electrode has a "copper cored" structure in which copper is sealed up to near the tip so that a large amount of heat can be released quickly.
As a result, a super "wide range" plug that is resistant to both burning and smoldering has been realized.

During parking, high voltage is constantly applied between the terminal and the main body fitting.
The high voltage will try to leak along the surface of the insulator, and the higher the required voltage between the spark gaps, the more likely flashover will occur.
In order to prevent flashover, insulator corrugations (folds) are provided to increase the insulator surface distance between the terminal and the main fitting to ensure insulation and prevent flashover.
