Description
NSR250R Matris Suspension (piggyback type) is a jointly developed and collaborated product with Matris of Italy.
NC machined body, titanium coated piston rod, reservoir tank filled with chisso gas!
All parts, including the damper head, piston, and cylinder, preload adjuster nut and double nut, are made of lightweight, high-strength super duralumin 7075, which is machined solid wood with high precision, and then hard-anodized for high durability.
The springs are of high quality and made in Japan.
■NC Cutting Unit
Instead of using cast bodies, which make up the majority of shock unit bodies on the market, Matris opted for NC machining, despite its higher cost compared to casting.
There are several reasons for this, as described below.
First of all, it has overwhelmingly high strength.
Compared with the casting method, which is formed by pouring into a mold, the carving from solid wood is very superior in terms of strength and is the best choice for suspensions used under severe conditions.
And it will be a big advantage not only for race use but also for street use where durability is required.
Secondly, it is easy to change the profile.
In the case of NC cutting without using a mold, the profile can be easily changed by computer.
This allows for detailed version upgrades and reduced development costs, resulting in the release of superior products to the market.
And it's very beautiful.
Hard anodizing for durability and the sharp lines and luster of machined duralumin.
The weight of the body that has been thoroughly reduced to the inside of the nut and reservoir tank, is a finish that emits a preeminent presence even in the group of replacement parts of expensive super sports, and satisfies the desire of the user to own.
■Titanium coated piston rod
T2 Racing is the first suspension manufacturer to use titanium coated piston rods in the rear monoshock unit, which has become a standard feature in the front forks of many suspension manufacturers.
The excellent low friction of the titanium coating further enhances the smoothness of the beginning, handles negativity from the road without transmitting it to the rider, and at the same time, provides excellent tire grip and road-following performance, allowing the tire to feed back more necessary information to the rider.
At the same time, the smooth operation of the titanium coating does not put stress on the internal sliding parts, which prevents setting errors and provides the benefit of high durability.
■Nitrogen gas-filled reservoir tank
In order to prevent cavitation caused by the violent movement of the piston rod, all models are supplied with the largest possible nitrogen gas tank.
By maintaining high pressure inside the cylinder, cavitation is prevented, high durability is achieved, and setting errors are prevented.
