Description
All trial bikes are equipped with this chain tensioner.
The tension and material are strong.
We have made attachments to the proven SEROW225 chain tensioner so that it can be strongly attached to the SEROW250 and the Tricker.
The construction of the chain tensioner mounting area on both bikes is the same.
In trials and off-road riding, the chain is always taut, preventing the chain from getting out of control and accurately transmitting the power of the engine to the rear tire.
For example, on slippery slopes or rocky terrain, if the chain is "slack," when you try to engage the drive with the throttle and clutch, the chain tightens first and then there's a momentary delay before the power is suddenly transmitted.So it can slide or jerk even if you close the accelerator.
It responds quickly to the accelerator even when riding on paved roads.
Strong springs are used to apply tension to both seal chains and 520 (upsized) chains.
We don't recommend using it for long distances on highways, but we have had it on my SEROW225 for a year and a half, and it has given me absolutely no trouble at all.
There was no loosening or bending.
It's protected by the side stand.
The chain does not run out of control and the rattling sound is reduced for a comfortable ride.

・Tensioner alone and with tensioner installed.The rollers are available in red and black.
・The chain tension should be 40-50mm vertical width according to the manual before the tensioner is installed.R-suspension full extension of 45mm is the best.
・The system has already been built into this state.
・Remove the nut, insert it into the bracket on the frame while the spring is not working, and tighten the nut.Around 22N-m.
・The looseness on both sides of the main body is less than 1mm, but if the washer rides up, the looseness becomes more than 3mm.
・When the arm is tightened, put a rounded cable tie on the spring end, pull it down and lift up the arm to hook it.See video.
・Composition of parts.The set includes the chain tensioner for SEROW225 with additional parts and washers.The plate has a top and bottom, with a punch mark on the bottom.
