Starting with the 2021 model year, minor changes have been made in various areas, and the old internal pressure control valve can no longer be used. The internal pressure control valve has been completely renewed to match the engine characteristics of this new RnineT.
The Rnine T internal pressure control valve has a chic black anodized aluminum design that does not detract from the vehicle's image.
The RnineT is designed to reduce its peaky nature and to accommodate a wide range of riding styles, from those who mainly enjoy low-to-medium RPM city riding to those who enjoy occasional sport riding, in keeping with the character of the RnineT.
[Cleaning of the internal pressure valve]
The internal pressure control valve has an internal valve that moves up and down at high speed.
Depending on driving conditions, over distance, emulsified gas that flows inside may adhere and inhibit valve movement.
Since the effect is not immediate, it is difficult to notice, and since the condition of the inside of the valve cannot be checked immediately, the problem may not be maintained over the long term, and the engine may not run well until the engine is warmed up.
Regular internal cleaning is necessary to eliminate internal pressure control valve problems.
Cleaning is recommended "after 6000 km" or "every 6 months".
●Cleaning method
・Remove the product from the vehicle and clean the inside with parts cleaner.
・The product itself does not need to be disassembled for cleaning.(*Do not disassemble)
・To determine when cleaning is complete, shake the product up and down and hear the valve clank.
