    *Handling of leather products
Thank you for purchasing DFG products.
Products made of leather should be stored with care to avoid mold, loss of shape, color migration, and color fading.
As for the storage environment, store the product in a well-ventilated place with low temperature and low humidity, out of direct sunlight.
If the storage area is not well ventilated, remove the product from time to time and dry it in the shade.
If surface dust or dirt is left on the surface, mold may occur, so please take care of dirt, dust, etc. before storing the product.
To prevent color migration, do not place the garment in close contact with or on top of other garments.
When using a cover for clothing, please use one that is breathable.
Also, please be careful not to get dehumidifiers, desiccants, or other liquids on the leather products.
Leather may degenerate, shrink and harden.
When shaping, use thick, special hangers for jackets to prevent them from losing their shape.

    ■Care instructions
If stains are applied, they should be removed immediately to avoid blotting or sticking.
・When removing mud and dust, use a leather brush or soft sponge, and be careful not to scratch the leather.
・If the stain is difficult to remove, use a commercially available leather cleaner or wipe it off carefully with a cloth soaked in water or water with a neutral detergent diluted in it and wrung out tightly. In doing so, do not rub the same area more than once.
・When wiping with cleaners, water, or detergent, please test in an inconspicuous area beforehand.
・Do not use an open flame, iron, hair dryer, etc. to force dry the product immediately after it gets wet with water, etc.
・To dry, thoroughly wipe off the moisture with a dry cloth and hang it in a well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight to dry naturally.
・If the product is used while wet, stacked on top of other clothes, or stored on top of other clothes, the color may migrate to other clothes, so please be careful how you store and handle the product.

    ・Do not tumble dry.
・If you wish to send your leather products to a specialized cleaner, please check the condition of your products and consult with the respective cleaner.

    ■About Maintenance
Routine care is basically aimed at removing dirt and restoring texture and luster.
Leather has a porous structure with ultra-fine interlaced fibers, which makes it easy for dirt to adhere to it, and once it gets inside, it is difficult to remove, so early care is recommended.
In addition, please check the following types and effects of the main care agents for leather products before caring for them.
    1. Leather cleaner: Used to remove dirt
    2. Leather-specific cream: Retains color and gloss, preserves leather, protects against stains and scratches, and maintains water resistance
    3. Leather oil: Improves feel and maintains flexibility
    4. Waterproofing and water-repellent agents: Repels rainwater and resists staining.
    5. Deodorizers and sanitizers: Reduces odor and mold growth

When using leather-specific creams or leather oil, be careful not to apply too much.
There is a risk of mold formation.
If too much is applied, carefully wipe off excess cream or oil.

    ■Characteristics of leather products
For leather products made from animal hides, the fiber structure differs depending on the part of the leather, individual differences, and age, even for the same product.
There will be slight differences in coloration, especially due to surface wrinkles and the way the dye is applied.

■About the change of leather products over time
The quality of leather changes depending on how often it is used and the environment.
Deterioration over time due to external factors is inevitable.
・Deterioration such as oxidation caused by ultraviolet rays (direct sunlight, light from lighting fixtures, etc.) and air pollutants.
・Carbonization phenomenon when sulfuric acid (battery acid, etc.) is attached.
・Migration, color fading, or color fading of surface oils or plasticizers used in leather processing when stored for a long period of time in a high humidity environment.
・Deterioration of leather due to components of perspiration, color fading, color fading, etc.
・Hardening, cracking, or deterioration of leather when stored in an excessively dry environment.
