KOOD x Woodstock Axle Shaft
The axle shafts are specially heat-treated four times to make them [tempered] for riding.
The [hardness] awakened by the high temperature increases the rigidity of the left and right connections, making the front fork look like a single unit.
Its rigidity does not succumb to torsion and transmits the load applied during braking to the suspension without letting it escape.
This is the first time I've felt this kind of tension, and it contributes to delicate brake control.
The high temperature of several hundred degrees gives the axle shafts not only hardness, but also "toughness" and allows them to follow the road surface evenly and carefully.
It responds to the rider's sensitivity and supports precise riding.
The rotation of the bearing without shaking is made possible by the roundness of the bearing, which has been achieved down to the micron level using Japan's leading polishing technology.
And the high smoothness and anti-corrosion effect of the unique three-layer plating will maintain the ride comfort for a long time.
