The basic movements of a motorcycle, acceleration, deceleration and turning, are always affected by the unsprung weight.

The GALE SPEED Wheel contributes to the reduction of the moment of inertia (the magnitude of inertia of an object rotating around an axis) by reducing the weight.

This contributes to the total improvement of motorcycle performance, not only in terms of acceleration / deceleration and turning, but also in terms of tire grip, brake effectiveness, brake pad wear, and suspension movement.

Lighter than magnesium

Magnesium wheels can no longer be used in big races such as the Superbike World Championship and the MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship (JSB1000) due to regulation changes, so GALESPEED began developing aluminum wheels that are as light as magnesium wheels.
The result is the "TYPE-SB1", the lightest forged aluminum wheel in the history of GALE SPEED.

Beautifully sculpted round 10-spoke provides flexibility under radial load during acceleration and deceleration.
The thickness of each part has been cut as thin as possible, and the weight is the same as that of the mag wheel, but sufficient strength has been secured by using super duralumin material.
