The basic movements of a motorcycle, acceleration, deceleration and turning, are always affected by the unsprung weight.
Especially, the weight of the wheel,that holds the most of weight in total, has a great influence.
The GALE SPEED Wheel contributes to the reduction of the moment of inertia (the magnitude of inertia of an object rotating around an axis) by reducing the weight.

This contributes to the total improvement of motorcycle performance, not only in terms of acceleration / deceleration and turning, but also in terms of tire grip, brake effectiveness, brake pad wear, and suspension movement.

TYPE-R was developed based on a new concept, incorporating ideas that emerged during the development of TYPE-C and valuable feedback from users.
The TYPE-R takes this performance to the next level by focusing on the elements that users want in a lightweight wheel.
"Revolution:Innovation and Revolution" and "Racing: Race" and "Radical: It was named "TYPE-R" with the meaning of "radical".

These 10 spokes featuring the sleek and rough meshed spoke style absorb the force transmitted from the road surface very well.
Not to mention the weight reduction of the rim part, spoke design, by renewing the dimensions of the hub part, realized the weight reduction of the entire wheel

TYPE-R, that has improved spoke rigidity and rim weight compared to TYPE-C, whose total weight (front and rear) has been successfully reduced by 10% compared to TYPE-C's total weight and rigidity has been improved.
It has been designed to provide better handling than TYPE-C wheels, and is capable of competing with cast and forged magnesium wheels in racing use.

Small diameter wheels for Mini are also available.
