The valve will open at a lower water temperature than stock to help prevent temperature rise.
By sending the coolant to the radiator early, it starts cooling before the water temperature rises and prevents the power down due to the water temperature rise.
When the water temperature is high, the intake air expands thermally, and the low-density air (oxygen) causes a power reduction.
For 2-stroke racers, it is said that 50-60 degrees is the best, and for works machines, it is said that 40 degrees is the target.
