Structure of aluminum catch tank (buffed finish)
Input of the engine pressure to the catch tank can be done from the cylinder head and the crankcase, and the output can be done from the oil return to the clutch cover, the storage tank or the open air.
Moreover, because the separator is built in the catch tank, the oil input at the same time as the internal pressure is pressed, and oil is returned to the clutch cover.
Adopting clear black hose with excellent bending resistance and clear black that can check the fluid in the hose, it enhances the presence of the catch tank.
In the case of Monkey (injection vehicle), it is impossible to release the pressure from the stock head cover.By purchasing the die-cast aluminum Z style head cover, the tappet breather cap can be installed to relieve pressure.
In this case, the kit does not come with a tappet breather cap, so you will need a Z style head cover (part number: Please purchase with 01-18-0036).
About Tappet Breather Cap Installation
Tappet breather cap for stock / R-stage cylinder head cannot be installed with SP Takegawa oil cooler kit at the same time.
When installing with SP Takegawa oil cooler kit, the oil cooler body must be 3 fin type and optional tappet breather cap (swivel type) must be purchased.
