Rotobox is proud to announce the introduction of the BULLET, a new thin-spoke, ultra-lightweight forged carbon wheel.
The Rotobox R&D team was asked to develop a wheel with robust spokes, designed like a forged aluminum or magnesium wheel.
The result is a one-piece carbon wheel with a bold look that is unique and offers maximum performance.
Designed to meet the highest racing specifications in terms of riding performance, design and technology, with a weight reduction of approximately 50% (*1).
The one-piece carbon cast construction is extremely light and strong, minimizing the moment of inertia and gyroscopic effect, allowing for safe machine control even at high speeds.

The experience and expertise of the professional test team YART (Yamaha Austrian Racing Team) has been incorporated into the wheel design in order to maximize the benefits of carbon fiber composites and reduce all known drawbacks.
The result is a spoke that fits the rim in a substantially wider area.
[UV protective coating]
A special UV-protective clear coating protects the carbon wheels from radiation even though it is very thin.

[high quality center section parts]
The hubs for each model are CNC-machined from high quality 7075 T6 aluminum alloy, used in the aviation industry, and are permanently assembled on carbon rims.
The ROTOBOX wheel is designed specifically for each motorcycle model and is a bolt-on replacement for the OEM wheel.
Cushion drive, sprocket carrier, spacers and bearings are included.

In order to make the spokes thin but robust, it consists of a special carbon fiber developed for military use.
[combination of chopped and woven carbon]
Rotobox's proprietary technology allows for the seamless combination of chopped and woven carbon in a one-piece monocoque.
[pentagon-shaped hub]
To achieve the ultimate torque transmission, the hub has a pentagon shape and the carbon parts are locked without bolts.
[anodized 90-degree valve stem]
The high quality 90 degree valve stem maintains proper air pressure even at very high speeds.
[three types of composite materials]
It is manufactured using ROTOBOX's unique three-component composite material, which combines carbon, epoxy and stainless steel.
A 2.5 mm stainless steel wire is incorporated into each side of the rim to improve impact resistance in the most critical outer areas.

[radial phatic test]
The purpose of this test is to check the durability of the rim and hub.
For this purpose, the drum applies a vertical load while the wheel rotates at a constant speed of 80 km / h (front: 340kg / rear: 560kg minimum 500.000 cycles).
[torsion phatic test]
The purpose of this test is to check the durability of the spokes and hubs.
For this reason, the wheel is fixed to the support and the contact surface of the hub is subjected to a torsional moment (front: 442Nm / rear: 790Nm, minimum 100.000 cycles).
[Corning Phatic Test]
The purpose of this test is to check the durability of the rim and hub.
For this purpose, the wheel is fixed to a rotating disc, which, while rotating at a constant speed, is subjected to a bending moment at the center of the wheel (front: 217Nm / rear: 387Nm, minimum 100.000 cycles).
[Impact test]
The purpose of this test is to check the air retention of the tire and the strength of the rim, spokes and hub.
Weight (Front: 225kg / rear: 375kg) striker is dropped from a height of 150mm onto the wheel and an impact load is applied.
