The need for compact socket wrenches with 6.3sq. insertion angle is increasing due to the change of working environment such as narrower working space in the engine compartment and smaller and lighter parts. The 6.3sq. series of KTC's flagship model "Nepros" inherits the DNA of the best tools, and realizes excellent workability and reliability in addition to the compactness that maximizes the advantage of the 6.3sq. size. Fullfills professional requirements in a high level.
T type Torx bit sockets are available in 2 sizes of standard type, 7 items of stubby type with short shaft length and 7 items of long type with long shaft length. The stubby type is less likely to twist and transmit the applied force without any loss, so it is recommended for loosening tightened bolts. The long type allows you to approach to the back of the machine without using the extension bar. Round shaft design is adopted to prevent twisting. Excellent rigidity is achieved.
■Common to both standard and long 6.3sq. bit sockets Round shaft provides high rigidity even in long distance! Bit sockets with a hexagonal dihedral width of 3mm or less are designed with a round shaft to prevent twisting. Excellent rigidity is achieved.
■The TIN (Titanium) coating improves wear resistance.
■The surface contact shape, Power Fit, prevents the concentration of stress and prevents damage to the corner of the bolt and contributes to the thinning of the wrench. About Power Fit With the conventional wrenches, the edge of the bolt / nut and the inner surface of the wrench are in linear contact when tightening / loosening the bolt / nut, so the stress is concentrated and the edge of the bolt / nut is damaged and sometimes slipped. The power fit shape developed by KTC has changed the contact with the bolt and nut from a line to a surface to prevent the concentration of stress, thereby preventing damage to the edge of the bolt and nut and enabling more reliable tightening and loosening work. For all items of Nepros brand wrenches and major items of KTC brand wrenches, Nepros has adopted the N Power Fit shape which realizes ideal surface contact by sublimating the Power Fit concept and increasing the contact area. The power fit shape is adopted not only on the bore side (hexagonal or dodecagonal shape) but also on the socket side (square shape) of socket wrenches (except for some products), which contributes to the strength and thinness of wrenches.
