This taillight is completely plug-and-play, meaning that there is no need for wire cutting, splicing, or soldering.

Q: Do I have to do any cutting?
A: No - no permanent modifications to your Kawasaki KLX250S / SF are required.
Q: Do I need a relay?
A: Installing this tail light will cause your signals to flash at a faster rate than what is considered to be stock.
Load balancing resistors can be wired in to fix the problem, and are included at no additional charge.
If you want a plug and play option that doesn't require any wiring,then you will want to purchase the relay.
In our opinion, TST highly recommends purchasing the relay, especially if you do not feel comfortable doing wiring on your bike.
It's easy to install and TST even have an installation video for it in TST's Videos Tab.
