The main part of the cap is made of carbon, a lightweight and strong material that is widely used in aircraft and racing bikes.

[SHELL / CAP]
The cap is made of multiple layers of wide-weave carbon fiber*(1).
The use of carbon fiber makes the cap extremely lightweight and strong.
The multi-layered fibers absorb the shock efficiently and disperse the energy.
The chin bar is made of KPA*(2).
*(1) VORTEX uses carbon fiber of 24K standard (K = unit of 1000 fibers bundled together).
*(2) KPA... Kinetic Polymer Alloy.This material is a composite of several materials, the main component of which is polycarbonate.

The shield has 94% UV protection.
It prevents the distortion of the field of view to the maximum extent and ensures the clarity of the field of view.
It has a wide shield area, abrasion resistance and secures excellent peripheral vision.
Inner visor also has 94% UV protection.

A switch on the side of the cap allows the cap to be opened quickly when entering a dark tunnel.
