Description
The works expansion for the GSX-R1000 / R, which underwent a full model change this year, is available.
The GSX-R is equipped with the latest suspension system and the latest electronic control system to make the most of the high potential of the GSX-R.
What about the brakes?
Even though the GSX-R is equipped with the latest brake discs, the GSX-R requires the appropriate brake discs in order to maximize its potential.
Sunstar provides feedback from Yoshimura Japan and US Yoshimura, which won the U.S. National Championship, with the technology cultivated through the race support.
The 12-pin design reduces inner distortion caused by braking torque.The hole layout and slit shape of the outer, which is also used in the Omega Disc, has been optimized for use with the stock caliper.
It has been designed to be used in championship races.
The GSX-R is further improved by brake tuning.

Feature 1: Sunstar's unique groove shape
The grooves enhance the cleaning effect of the pad surface and disc surface.
This allows for an exquisite brake touch that cannot be experienced with any other disc.
Also, the brake pads wear less because of the Groove.
Feature 2: Selectable board thickness and details
Available in two thicknesses: 5.5 mm and 6.0 mm.
It also allows for a wider range of body setups for different tracks and driving styles.
The R shape of the outer circumference of the disc is designed with endurance racing
The shape is designed to improve the workability of tire changing.
The effective width of the pad is 33mm, so it fits not only high performance racing calipers, but also the latest SS stock calipers.
Feature 3: Selectable floating system
You can choose between two types of inner / outer coupling.
Full floating for more linear control.
If you want to reduce the wear and tear on the pins and inners, semi-floating is recommended.
Feature 4: Selectable pin color
In addition to the standard black color, you can choose from 7 optional colors.
It can also be used as an accent around the brakes.
Enjoy customizing your brakes by changing the color of the pins.
