Mono Ritec" is a large-diameter one-piece monocoque hub structure with the inside of the hub hollowed out by a special cutting process of the most advanced technology.
The front wheel is basically a one-piece structure without a disc flange except for some models, and the design of the disc rotor mounting area has been carefully machined to reduce the weight in grams.
The spoke shape also provides a superior driving feel and greater rigidity than can be achieved with straight spokes found on wheels that rotate at high speeds.
The CATTIVA wheels are treated with techno-shot peening, in which special spherical ceramic micro-balls are hammered into the wheel, and then painted with a glossy black powder coating (powder coating).
◆Techno shot peening treatment
The "Techno Shot Peening Treatment", in which special spherical ceramic micro-balls used in CATTIVA are shot into the wheel using special equipment, is a technology that can increase the surface hardness of the wheel by 15% through chemical changes in the molecular arrangement and density of the metal surface.
This is a technology cultivated in the four-wheeled F-1, which has never been used in a two-wheeled wheel before, and is truly a technology unique to O-Z Racing.
◆Production method
As with the "PIEGA" aluminum forged wheel, the product is made by compression molding the material using a press, and is characterized by its high strength and tenacity.
The O.Z wheel is not simply pressed from above and below, but is truly forged by applying over 20,000 tons of pressure from multiple directions to crush the metal and refine the internal crystals.This product is made with the world-leading forging press and high quality molding for an ideal shape.

The ideal shape simulated by 3DCG and the advanced cutting technology to realize it.
The low weight, which is a characteristic of magnesium wheels, has been further improved by O.Z.'s technology by applying complex cutting without sacrificing strength.

Surface finish
In addition to the forging process and heat treatment, CATTIVA is also treated with shot peening technology to further increase its strength.
The surface of the wheel is shot-peened with ceramic (ceramic shot) to increase the surface hardness by 20-25%.
The final surface finish, the key to the look, is painstakingly painted black.

All parts other than the wheel body are machined from 7075, a material known as ultra duralumin.
Pursuing a design that focuses on lightweight and functional beauty.(The finish is unified with black hard anodized aluminum.)
