[What is anodizing?]
Anodic oxidation of titanium is a surface treatment in which the surface crystals of titanium react with oxygen in an aqueous solution to form an oxide film [TiO2].In this state, the oxide film is stable with a thickness of a few nanometers on the surface, preventing galling and burning of bolts, and the stable oxide film also acts as a corrosion protection against electrical corrosion.
