The Yamaha RX-135 (called as RX-K 135 in certain markets) is long gone but the legendary small displacement two-stroke motorcycle is not forgotten. At a recent motor show in Malaysia, a fine example of a Yamaha RX-135 custom bike was exhibited.

Finished in a shiny purple chrome paint job which is complemented by golden accents, the RX-K 135 (K stands for King) retains the original bodywork.

The 1985 model for the international markets came with a compact headlamp fairing and a tailpiece with a small body colored element near the stand alone taillight. The cycle parts, handlebar, grab rail , mud guards and the original exhaust system are finished in chrome.

The motorcycle ditches  its stock suspension system in favor of Showa front fork and rear shock absorbers (with Ohlins dampers  Ohlins). The bike also gets Binter AR125 alloy wheels and a front disc brake with Nissin calipers.

The instrument console of the original bike has been retained.

The Yamaha RX125 custom bike also sports UMA Racing 30 carburetor and a transparent alternator case The instrument console and rear view mirrors of the original bike have been retained. Technical specifications of the motorcycle were not discussed.
