Run Through the World of Virtual Reality
PROTOTYPE is a company that plans and develops computer software and produces interaction designs. The company has just released their latest virtual simulator, the ”GodSpeed FreeRide+” which offer virtual enduro racing experiences using KTM FREERIDE 350. It was exhibited at the 2nd Advanced Content Technology Expo last week.
At the exhibition you will be able to experience the beautiful and dangerous roads of enduro races on a KTM FREERIDE 350 with a helmet equipped with ”HTC Vive” which enables virtual reality.
The rider will aim for the goal by running through the top of steep cliffs looking down at beautiful valleys.
Those who still have no idea of what virtual simulator is, please find out in below video.
Due to oscillating equipments which are used at 4DX theatres, the virtual experience has become more realistic. The movements of the handle, throttle, brake, gear, clutch of the KTM FREERIDE 350 will respond simultaneously and be reflected in the virtual zone.
Experience Drag Races with Harley Davidson V-ROD!
At the exhibition you will also be able to experience the ”Drag Racing eXstream+” using two V-ROD motorcycles that were exhibited at the HARLEY-DAVIDSON BLUE SKY HEAVEN recently.
The BLUE SKY HEAVEN isn’t a ”Roaring Screen” but a ”Roaring Experience”.

#DIESELWATCH A BIKE RACE
In the past, PROTOTYPE has exhibited VR Simulation Events in which the rider runs through the streets of London on a classical ”NORTON”. As you know, London was the birthplace of café racers. The situation takes place with two riders (one was a virtual rider) racing through the streets of London at night. Riders had to lean forward on the motorcycle to control the machine at high speed.
GodSpeed VR
On the 7th December 2014, the company exhibited ”GodSpeed VR”, the ultimate speed experience at ”Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show2014” held at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA. The exhibition was named ”Dedicated to Eternal Speed Junkies” and exhibited an experiential simulator that offered ”High-speed that is only granted to special riders”. The rider got on a 1,000cc motorcycle with a helmet equipped with head mount displays of the next generation and not only received visual information but sound and vibrations as well.
