A motorcycle chains manufacturer and seller, RK Japan released their new chains especially developed for 250cc bikes, “GC520MRU” on July 28th, 2016.

They are compatible with 125cc to 300cc bikes. The prices are in the 12,000 JPY range depending on the number of links.

 

 

Recently released “GC520MRU” has a bold design which is light-weighted with a narrow width. They were developed to aim not only to increase the throttle response, but also acceleration, low fuel cost, and quietness.

RK Japan actualized that the new chains can be used both on the road AND for racing by narrowing down the range of the engine displacement for compatibility. This way they can be used with your daily-use motorcycle to join track events or enjoy racing as a hobby too. They are low-priced yet gold‐plating processed in the racing “GC” color. They are as durable enough as OEM chains to be used as 520 street sealed chains.

 

Reliable seal ring used for racing. Ultra-thin “UW-ring” is utilized

Seal rings adopt “UW-ring” which has been proved its quality as a racing chain. They have same width as a non-seal chains, but achieved the weight saving,, low friction, and high durability.

“UW-ring” is their original seal ring which developed the fourth generation. It was used with the original chains, such as “VG520FWR2” and “GP520UWR” to be developed by works teams. Recently it is adopted with “GC520MXU”, exclusively designed for off-road racing.
