Product Description
Specification
Materia: sintard
Compounds: SP (for rear use only)
Description
It is characterized by a high coefficient of friction and wear resistance that is stable under any operating conditions (from high to low temperatures), enabling excellent durability.
■SP Compound
Sintered compound for rear brakes. It is characterized by a particularly high frictional efficiency in all operating conditions.
The properties of the compound are similar to those of the SA compound, but it has been optimized for rear brakes based on the conditions required for rear brakes.
[The secret to safe braking is brake pads]
Brembo, the global leader in the brake industry, offers a wide range of high-performance brake pads that employ advanced technologies to improve the safety of braking systems.
By offering a wide range of compounds, from sintered to carbon ceramic, Brembo is able to meet the needs of all disciplines: racing, road, off-road, street and scooter.
The compounds normally used for brake pads can be classified into two systems: sintered metal and organic.
The choice of which compound to use is not solely determined by the intended use.
Different compounds of brake pads can be used for the same application.
■Sintered: SA, LA, SP, SX, SD, XS, GENUINE
A compound produced by compressing metal powder mixed with a lubricant or abrasive at high temperature.
It can be bonded to back plates of any shape without the addition of adhesives in the production process.
The performance of the metal powder is the decisive factor for braking power at high temperatures.
Lubricants help to stabilize the entire braking process and abrasives keep the brake discs clean.
■Carbon Ceramics: RC, CC, TT, GENUINE
It is mainly composed of resin binder, metal powder, lubricant, and abrasive.
The coefficient of friction is determined by the resin binder and metal powder, and the lubricant and abrasive perform the above functions.
■Selection of compound
Every brake pad has its own specific application. The choice of compound depends on the various situations that the brake pads will be dealing with.
For racing use, the brakes must perform at their best at high temperatures, while for street use, the brakes must be highly stable when applied at medium to low temperatures.
■Bite
To check the Initial fitting of brake pad is a particularly important process for all compounds, and is particularly important for racing RC compounds.
Apply the brakes lightly several times with a short interval between the application of the brakes to complete the fitting of the brake pads.
At this time, do not try to force the temperature up by braking.
These generate the correct heating and cooling cycles necessary for the brake system to perform satisfactorily.
The bite time depends on the type of compound, but it is generally longer for organic compounds than for sintered metal compounds.

[How is it used?Introduced to MainMotorcycle's XJR1300C Rear brake. I was looking at various pad...We chose brembo's Brake Pads, whose lineup has recently expanded and become larger, because we wondered what it would be like.I have been using DAYTONA for most of the Motorcycles I have ridden so far, although they have had OEM pads on them.To sum up, the efficacy, onset of efficacy, and controllability of the product are far superior to those of the OEM.Was the one you received as per Image?I received the Pad as shown in the Image or rather the product picture. The magical material part of the Pad is kind of cool in Gold color, though you can't see it when it's attached. It is a red color, so it looks like DAYTONA's Red Pad? It is said to have the same level of performance as DAYTONA's Golden.Personally, I think the texture is better than DAYTONA's, because it is Brake Pads made by a Brake shop. Was the installation difficult? It's not difficult at all, XJR is just stopped by two Caliper bolts, so it's easy.Pad pin and pad spring are a bit annoying.Pad was chamfered well before installation. Life seems to be long as I cut it down. Expectation. How was your experience with it?For XJR, only SPCompound was available, so we selected this Compound. If there was a lower Grade TTCompound, I would like to use that for Rear. The Rear brake is even easier to use than OEM.I personally think it is superior to DAYTONA's Golden Pad. I recommend it.[Included Parts:were they on?Instruction Manual was included.[Was there anything that disappointed you?Not at all. I would recommend Pad most highly. View detail
Genuine Brembo Front Pads for Kawasaki Z900
Brembo are a cracking brand when it comes to brake pads. Honestly, they are absolutley awesome. This bike is one of my own and has Brembo retro fitted calipers which does brake heavy and thought I would try the sintered ones first. Finding the correct part was pretty easy as I visited Brembo website and put my caliper details in. Webike had these in stock and so ordered with a few other parts. The shipping was fast and via EMS, delivered to me in 5 days. All was packed really well and did not move during transit, no damage at all. The pads came in their own Brembo branded packet and arrived with no chips or any visual damage at all. They feel solid and as they are heavily sintered and also have a fairly high heat resistance. Haviong used brembo pads many times before, the fiting is really straight forward and it takes little time to get these bedding in correctly. Very pleased and the bike will be stopping on a penny from now on. View detail
I knew it! Brembo!
The Pad that originally came with it was getting very thin, so we replaced it.At first, I wondered if the stop was worse than before. I thought that it was worse than before, but I drove on.After running for a while and some heat, it settled down to a smooth stop, just the way I like it.KTM is a BYBRE Caliper, which means that the braking power is fine, but until now it has felt like it was working too hard for me with the kakkun. If you are asking if brembo's Pad is unstoppable, rest assured that it is not at all.The brake system is brembo after all. Initial braking is gentle
Pad of Compound for Rear. The initial braking is gentle and only works as much as you step on it, and it seems to take a little longer to get a bite compared to other manufacturers (Vesra, RK).Brake dust is heavy, and there is a fair amount of coppery powder. The paint is thick, so there was some snagging during assembly (I think this may be an individual difference). To be honest, FOR JAPAN MODELMANUFACTURER is more beautiful in the details of BALI drop, surface finishing, etc.The car has been used for about 4000 km, but the red paint has been burnt and is turning brown,The paint was peeling at the contact points with the caliper and piston, and the back plate was worn.Is the Plate softer than other manufacturers?Compound wear is normal for Sintered.I wish the coating had more heat resistance. The color of the color insert that can be glimpsed is Race ish.
I did not choose the rear brake because of its effectiveness, but because I am a brembo believer.I liked it because of its brembo-like Controllable nature.I like the vermilion color of the back plate because it creates a race-ish atmosphere.Since it is a rear brake, durability also depends on the individual, but it seems to work for a long time.Since the bite is not attached immediately after replacement, you may feel a lack of potency, so pad break-in is a must.I have not used this Pad in Circuit yet, but it is easy to use in OEM same etc. View detail
