After Snow in Assen, the weather conditions again affect the Word Superbike Championship and WSS300; this time in Imola, Italy. Immediately after the Supersport World Championship race, a thunderstorm hit the area flooding some sections of the track making the route very tricky, for this reason, all events on Sunday have been canceled to preserve the safety of the participants.

Toprak Razgatlioglu (Turkish Puccetti Racing) finished in third place (behind Rea and Bautista) in race-1 and in seventh place in Sunday morning Superpole Race. Race-2 was canceled due to the adverse weather conditions as we already said (WSS300 race was canceled too, same reason).

On Saturday race, Toprak started from 11th place in the grid and managed to make his way to the top places, among those in the group following Rea and Bautista. He started a brave fight with Haslam and van Der Mark for the podium, a fight ended in the best possible way for Toprak, ending on the 3rd place. On Sunday morning Toprak again was good in making its way through the top places in Superpole Race, getting his spot in 4th position, but the rear tire started giving him troubles and he stepped back to end in 7th place.
Saturdays WSS300 qualifying ended with 3 Arrow riders behind the poleman (Perez): De Cancellis (Team Trasimeno), Carrasco (Kawasaki Provec), Ieraci (Team GP Project)

In SuperSport Soomer (MPM WilSport Racedays) closed in 9th place.

Ana Carrasco (Kawasaki Provec WorldSSP300 Rider): “It’s a shame not having been able to race, but the weather conditions have changed a lot since yesterday and today the track was not under good conditions. Apart from this, I’m very happy with the weekend, all the team has worked well and we’ve been strong in the Free Practices. Thanks to all the team and to Kawasaki for the great effort, we’ll have to wait for Jerez to race again!”
