Yesterday, I was back from an international stunt contest called SBI(Stunt Bournezeau International) held in France. That’s why I will write a report of this trip.

 

Everytime I participate an international stunt contest in Europe, I stay at my friend and same stunt rider Julien Welsch’s house in Lyon of France.
And This time , We went to Julien’s Fiancee Melanie.
We loaded our bikes on the Julien’s van and headed to Bournezeau about 7 hours from Lyon.

 

When competition , We usually have to ride on like parking spot and there are a lot of obstructions for the riding, such as white lines, cracks and grass. But in this time , Surprisingly they made and have perfect spot for stunt riding. There weren’t obstructions at all.

 

There were about 40 riders. We have to break through 2 qualifications and 15 riders are possible to go to the semi final. Finally, only 10 riders are possible to ride on the final round.

 

And there were lot of peoples and they made a lot of noise!
I felt French motorcycle culture is more enthusiastic than Japanese one.

 

My performance was not best but not bad. I did my best but made some mistake on my riding. I post some my riding pictures.

Made a big crash in qualification 1st run.

Finally I got the 3rd place on individual freestyle class. And Julien got the 1st place.

 

Additionally I won wheelie circle contest!! This category is how many wheelie circles we can make during 30 seconds. I made perfect epic spin during 30 seconds. I made 17 circles, I could win. I was so excited and happy!!
