You probably haven\u2019t<\/span> heard of <\/span>Fantic Motorcycles<\/span>, but yo<\/span>u won\u2019t want to miss the company\u2019s two new 500cc models, which are tastefully done heritage models.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bringing Italian sexiness to a segment dominated with an American aesthetic, the Fantic Caballero 500 <\/span>street tracker and scrambler bikes ar<\/span>e remarkable examples of purposeful and elegant machines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based around a 449cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine that makes 43hp, the Fantic Caballero 500 scrambler comes with a 19\u2033 front wheel and 17\u2033 rear wheel, whereas the street tracker model comes with 19\u2033 hoops fore and aft.<\/span><\/p>\n

The chassis is done in the old style, with a backbone frame made out of chromoly steel,mated to a more modern aluminum swingarm. Upside down forks and a rear monoshock handle suspensi<\/span>on, both of which are fully adjustable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other highlights include a well-done high-mount exhaust by Arrow, four-gallon fuel tank, and six-speed gearbox.<\/span><\/p>\n

All-in-all, if your desire is for a back-to-basics vintage machine that is done right with modern touches, Fantic seems to have been listening. The 1970s never looked so good.<\/span><\/p>\n
