<\/p>\n Webike staff luckily had an opportunity to take a test ride of RC390 and RC125, so we would like to give you feedback on the test ride. <\/p>\n DUKE series has often been seen lately in cities and in travelling. Its distinctive design and powerful run have drastically drawn KTM to something familiar. While DUKE has come to be appeared in circuits or amateur races, it is also true that some users are demanding more sporty functions.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It can be said that RC series is a motorcycle for such sport-riding oriented KTM users, but it is sufficiently fun to just drive on roads, even when they are not circuits. This vehicle was a deeply receptive sport motorcycle.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n RS\u2019s style gives an impression like such a racing motorcycle as KTM RC250R that is doing well in the MotoGP World Championship Moto3 class. The riding position is slightly tilted forward than DUKE and is good for rides in towns as well as DUKE series.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The large steering angle as well as the light weight body makes a U-turn on roads easy. Also, it is suitable for sport tours thanks to the slightly bigger mirror with which the rear is easy to see and the full cowl that provides protection from the wind.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Moreover, with such adequate seat height as a 170cm-tall person can place both feet flat on the ground, in addition to the lightweight body, even beginners and female riders would be able to ride in safety.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The single cylinder engine in common with the DUKE series little vibrated and was very comfortable even when it kept running with 4-speed or 5-speed after full acceleration from a low speed. Compared to RC390, it\u2019s undeniable that RC125 is less powerful, though, it has no problem at all as far as it runs with leading traffic flow.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The handling is quite tractable. The steering angle gets larger as the body leans, then the vehicle turns naturally.<\/p>\n Although I am writing only an impression of rides in towns, the RC series was definitely fun in the closed course, too. It may be thanks to the position I mentioned and the caster angle that decreased by 1.5-degree than DUKE that the machine turns more naturally and comfortably than the DUKE series. RC390 would be the most pleasurable motorcycle on short courses of Tsukuba 1000 or Fuji Speedway with the lightweight body, sufficient power, and natural handling.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I have to say that RC125 was slightly less powerful at Tsukuba1000, however, you can fully enjoy how well you manage to ride a small displacement motorcycle with keeping the speed. It won\u2019t be difficult to imagine the fun from the fact that many journalists who participated in the test ride event drove RC125 as long as time was allowed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The sales price of RC390 is 637,000 Yen and of RC125 is 565,000 Yen (including tax). These prices are very attractive and reasonable for even young people who have just gotten their licenses, while the prices of motorcycles of 400cc or under have increased lately. And, above all, the RC series is cool. The sharp design and the details must draw attention from those who look at the RC series. The RC series satisfies the ownership of any displacement and is fun to ride. \nThe test ride event took place at Tsukuba Circuit Course 1000 and we were also allowed to drive on roads around the circuit. We could check both its sport performance in the closed course and its usability on the roads.<\/p>\n<\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
