Akrapovic is using a performance-oriented catalytic converter that will get you all the sound and performance improvements an Akrapovic exhaust system has accustomed you to.
The catalyst is a metallic honeycomb structure that incorporates precious metals (palladium, rhodium and platinum) in its surface. These metals convert carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons present in the exhaust gas into carbon dioxide and water vapor.
