Product Detail
Specification
Type 1Torque cam 45°
Description
Specified and installed at the same time as the VARIABLE pulley (71073) for DAYTONA's Address V125.
This is a flat face driven assembly that avoids the problem of the V-belt dropping in high speed gears.
The torque cam is set at the optimum angle for simultaneous installation of DAYTONA's VARIABLE pulley (71073) and reinforced V-belt (61171).
Face angle is the same as stock.
TYPE1 (Torque Cam 45°) improves acceleration characteristics in low to mid range and gas pedal response feeling. Since the gearshift speed is close to stock (but not exactly the same), the center spring can be set from stock or 3% up (62289/74053).
TYPE2 (Torque Cam 55°) provides a speed increase that matches the increase in engine RPM at high speeds. Since the gearshift rpm will be lower than stock driven or TYPE1 (73250), we recommend setting the center spring from 10% UP (62290/74054).
The weight roller should be set at 13g x 6 or less.
Compatible with stock or our center spring.
