The R-11 silencer amplifies the pleasant pulse of the 270-degree crankshaft and gives the rider the feeling of wanting to keep opening the throttle. Yoshimura's racing know-how has been incorporated in many areas, such as securing the bank angle, weight reduction, and aerodynamics. Exhaust pipes are optimized in terms of pipe length and pipe layout to improve exhaust efficiency. The new engine has improved performance throughout the entire range from the normal use range for touring to sport riding at high rpm. The merge collector has a built-in catalytic converter.
In combination with other custom parts, the GSX-8S and GSX-8R can be customized in a more sporty and original way.
