Here comes Kenny Roberts and Eddie Lawson, the master and disciple duo!
The year 1983, when the 11th edition was held, was a season of intense competition between Kenny Roberts and Freddie Spencer in the World Grand Prix.
Roberts retired from the World Grand Prix at the end of the year, and Eddie Lawson moved his competition from the U.S. Japanese circuit to the World Grand Prix, where he and Roberts were teammates and mentors for the first year.
This will be the first time for him to appear with a Grand Prix machine in the TBC Big Road Race
Keiji Kinoshita, who had been battling with Roberts for the past few years as a Japanese rider, crashed while chasing Spencer in the Japanese Grand Prix motorcycle race a month before this race, and was injured and had to sit out.
Kinoshita and Tadahiko Taira, who fought for the All-Japan 500cc title and won his first championship, along with veterans Sadao Asami, Shinichi Ueno, and Hiroyuki Kawasaki, will challenge the two GP riders.
