Description
Pepex seal low friction oil seal!
This is the ultimate oil seal for wheels with "greatly reduced loss of frictional resistance" by coating the sliding parts of the main lip with fine particles of PTFE, a low-friction material!
It demonstrates excellent wear resistance and can be used in harsh environments without lubrication, and also has a long service life due to reduced heat generation from sliding.
That's exactly what the Pepex seal looks like in its signature blue!
PTFE is commercialized under the name Teflon by DuPont and is mainly used for industrial purposes, but it can also be found in everyday life, such as fluorine coating on frying pans.
Oil seal is TC type.
When used for track use, removing the dust lip with a cutter will further reduce friction.
