In many AC-powered headlight vehicles, especially mini-bikes, if the light is turned off by cutting the wiring or other easy modification, the balance between the stator's power generation and power consumption will be lost and the overall voltage of the vehicle will be increased.Continuing to run the bike as it is may cause the battery to deteriorate due to overcharging or the stock regulator to fail due to excessive load.
The effect of overcharging is stronger in the case of engine tuned bikes that run at a higher rpm than stock.
The 4ohm type is based on the data from SP Takegawa's actual riding test with KSR110, Monkey and Ape.(12V36W, 13V42W, 14V49W)
