Description
It is possible to make it to 12V (C.D.I. ignition) by installing this kit to 6V Chaly (point ignition).
In addition, because the super street outer rotor is adopted, the stable ignition performance is possible, and the brightness of the lights that are necessary for the street use and the charge that compensates for the electric power consumed when running become possible.
■Differences between SP Takegawa products and those of other companies
The kit which converts from 6V to 12V sold by other companies is only converted to 12V only for lights, and the ignition system remains point ignition.
Super Street Outer Rotor Kit" made by SP Takekawa is the kit which has both C.D.I. ignition and 12V, so you can get the stable ignition performance and 12V electric power at the same time, and the selection width of custom parts will be expanded.
■About the installation of the kit
The pulse generator required for the C.D.I. ignition can be stored in the narrow space in the left crankcase cover without any modification, and the ignition coil and C.D.I. can be fixed to the frame by bolt-on by mounting on the special bracket.
There is no wiring work required for the conversion, and it can be installed by coupler-on, and it fits neatly under the seat as stock.
