    Description

    ■This part suppresses abnormal vibration from the clutch spring and improves the operating accuracy.

    The spring and the pressure plate make it difficult to cause vibration.

    By adding washers, you can fine-tune the strength of the connection grip.
    Assume the stock steel hold down is 0.
    Workshop-made: 1.0mm reinforced without washer.
    Same as stock with one washer.
    Weakened by 1.0mm when two sheets are inserted.
    It is low in height, so it does not interfere with the case cover.

    Red because it is HONDA!
    With the stock retainer, the spring moves due to centrifugal force and vibration, and rubs against the inner surface of the pipe-shaped frame of the pressure plate and the post of the boss.
    It can be a source of vibration and friction loss.
    The spring of the workshop-made model fits in the step, and even if you tighten it properly, it will always fit in the center because it uses a countersunk screw.

    [fitting instructions]
    1: If necessary, put the washer on the post of the boss or in the retainer where the bolt is inserted.You can grease it.
    2: Insert the retainer with the spring and bolt.
    3: Tighten the bolts temporarily, and then tighten the bolts diagonally after all five bolts are in place.

    The washer is fully secured when the bolt is tightened.
    The more you add, the less the spring is tightened and the lighter it becomes.

    [About clutch discs]
    The newer, the better the connection.
    The manual shows the limit of use of the thickness, but it is not helpful.
    In the case of a cork type friction disc, if the surface is shiny and crispy when you put your fingernail on the corner, it is carbonized.
    Doesn't connect like a new one.
    As a rule of thumb, the cork type has reached the end of its life when the grains of the cork become so black that they cannot be distinguished.
    But if you struggle in the mountain or practice wheelie, even a brand-new bicycle may be worn out in a day.

    *This product is not compatible with the Assist Slipper Clutch from the 2020 model of the Rebel 250.
    *The clutch structure of CRF250L and RALLY has been changed since 2021 model, so it cannot be used.
