■Selected materials
All parts used in the Matris M40KD monoshock, from the damper head, piston and cylinder to the preload adjuster nut and double nut, are made from lightweight, high-strength super duralumin 7075. Hard anodizing is applied for high durability.

■NC Cutting Unit
Instead of using cast bodies, which make up the majority of shock unit bodies on the market, Matris opted for NC machining, despite its higher cost compared to casting.
There are several reasons for this, as described below.
First of all, it has overwhelmingly high strength.
Compared with the casting method, which is formed by pouring into a mold, the carving from solid wood is very superior in terms of strength and is the best choice for suspensions used under severe conditions.
And it will be a big advantage not only for race use but also for street use where durability is required.
Secondly, it is easy to change the profile.
In the case of NC cutting without using a mold, the profile can be easily changed by computer.
This allows for detailed version upgrades and reduced development costs, resulting in the release of superior products to the market.
And it's very beautiful.
Hard anodizing for durability and the sharp lines and luster of machined duralumin.
The weight of the body that has been thoroughly reduced to the inside of the nut and reservoir tank, is a finish that emits a preeminent presence even in the group of replacement parts of expensive super sports, and satisfies the desire of the user to own.
■Chrome Coating Piston Rod
The piston rod of the M40KC model is chrome coated.
■Two-way adjustment mechanism
M40KC model is equipped with 2-way damping adjustment system (compression side and rebound side) to make damping adjustment easier to understand, and ride height adjustment function is available for some models.
■Nitrogen gas-filled reservoir tank
In order to prevent cavitation caused by the violent movement of the piston rod, all models are supplied with the largest possible nitrogen gas tank.
By maintaining high pressure inside the cylinder, cavitation is prevented, high durability is achieved, and setting errors are prevented.
