As the regulations were changed from the following year, this was the last season for the 1000cc monster bikes, which makes it even more rare.
Riders included Eddie Lawson, Yoshimura's Wes Cooley, Freddie Spencer and Wayne Rainey.
The machines include the original Lawson replica, Spencer's CB750F, and the GSX1000S, which was built for the American homologation.
It also includes rare footage of Formula 1 races, where super bikes and racing machines are mixed together, which cannot be seen nowadays.
