    [Product Description]
    The R stage complete engine 106cc for Monkey (FI) that can be made into a high spec engine at a reasonable price, well below the total cost of various kit parts and assembly labor.
    The complete engine is a high quality engine that has been assembled by SP Takegawa mechanics with proper control of each part.
    SP Takegawa's complete engines for the Monkey (FI) cannot be installed with the stock suspension and require a front fork kit, 10 inch wheels and a long swing arm.
    The 106cc R stage complete engine is almost the same length as the stock engine, allowing the engine to be installed with the stock suspension. Also, the stock throttle body and the stock air cleaner box can be used.

    R stage head
    Based on the standard head shape, large diameter valves IN:26mm / EX:22.5mm are used. (stock valves are IN:20mm/EX:16mm)
    SP Takegawa's original cylinder head was developed with the optimum valve pinching angle, combustion chamber shape, and port shape in conjunction with the use of large diameter valves.
    The new cylinder head is designed with the optimum valve sandwich angle, combustion chamber shape, and port shape, along with greatly improved intake and exhaust efficiency.

    Port
    The port diameter of the R-stage head is increased to 24mm (IN) and 20mm (EX), compared to 20mm (IN/EX) for the stock head.
    The R-stage head has larger diameter ports (IN: 24mm / EX: 20mm), and the 3-dimensional port shape allows for smoother flow of intake and exhaust gases with the larger diameter valves and ports.

    Valve (IN: 26mm / EX: 22.5mm / Valve stem shaft diameter: 4.5mm)
    The weight increase due to the larger diameter of the valve has been minimized by waist machining.

    Valve spring
    Single valve springs with unequal pitch (2-stage pitch) are used to prevent surging at high RPM.

    Camshaft
    The camshafts are specially designed with the optimum cam profile for the R stage head to maximize the power of the R stage.


    Ceramic plated cylinder / machined aluminum pistons
    Increased bore and stroke for 106cc displacement

    Ceramic plated cylinder
    The cylinder uses an all aluminum ceramic plated cylinder for durability, airtightness and heat dissipation.
    SP Takegawa's oil cooler kit is recommended.
    When the oil cooler is not installed, use the included oil plug bolt.
    If you do not have an oil cooler, you can use the included oil plug bolt, which can be fitted with an M5 temperature sensor.

    Forged aluminum pistons
    The pistons are machined from solid forged aluminum for light weight and high rigidity.

    Crankshaft / Oil separator
    50 mm stroke crankshaft
    The crankshaft body has been balance cut for low vibration and light weight. The crankshaft journal bearing has a special bearing with a larger inner diameter to accommodate high power engines.
    This allows the shaft diameter to be increased from 20mm to 22mm, where the crankshaft is subjected to the greatest amount of stress, thus improving strength. In addition, the crankshaft has been given a special surface treatment to further increase durability.

    Oil separator with built-in bearings
    By incorporating bearings into the oil separator, the crankshaft shaft is supported by a total of three bearings.
    This reduces shaking and vibration caused by the weight of the flywheel, and brings out the best in engine performance. This product is especially effective in the high rpm range of large displacement engines.

    Reinforced crankcase / Reinforced clutch / Transmission
    SP Takegawa's original reinforced crankcase specially designed for Monkey (FI)
    SP Takegawa's original strengthened crankcase is a high quality crankcase specially designed to increase the rigidity and detail of the crankcase.
    The oil pump is a crankshaft direct drive type oil pump.
    Compared to the chain drive type reinforced oil pump, the discharge volume is approximately doubled.
    The breather pipe has a 6mm inner diameter to reduce the internal pressure of the crankcase for large displacement engines.
    The crankcase itself is equipped with an oil jet mechanism that constantly sprays oil directly onto the small end of the connecting rod and the backside of the piston for lubrication and cooling.
    The transmission bearing is equipped with a special bearing hold plate to hold the big torque.

    Super Cam Chain Tensioner
    The Super Cam Chain Tensioner maintains proper tension and tracking of the cam chain. The tensioner arm is machined from high strength super durable aluminum material and the thickness has been increased to make the arm stronger.
    The thickness of the arm is increased to increase the strength of the arm body and also to increase the ground contact area to the push rod. An oil hole is provided in the arm to lubricate the working part with oil.
    The surface is coated with hard anodized aluminum.

    Primary kick starter system is adopted.
    The primary kick starter system allows the engine to be started by disengaging the clutch, regardless of what gear it is in.
    The primary kick starter system also allows the engine to be started without putting direct stress on the transmission.

    Reinforced clutch
    The reinforced clutch uses 5 discs to eliminate clutch slippage that can occur with high power engines.
    The clutch cover of the wet type special clutch (primary type) is made of die-cast magnesium.


    TAF 5-Speed Cross Transmission

    The TAF 5-speed cross transmission offers high durability and excellent operability, and is available in two gear ratios: S Touring and Super Street.

    S-Touring 5-speed is the complete standard equipment.



    FI Controller PLUS (Injection Controller)

    FI Controller PLUS for Monkey (FI) No troublesome PC connection is required.

    The FI Controller PLUS has been developed in-house by SP Takegawa to fit the R-stage 106cc complete engine for the Monkey (FI).

    It maximizes the performance of the R-stage cylinder head and the engine specs of the large displacement engine.

    The FI-CON PLUS has a 3-dimensional fuel map inside, which can perform high-speed calculations based on signals from various sensors to optimize fuel injection according to engine conditions.

    In addition to the fuel injection circuit, the ignition system circuit is also built in, and the ignition timing is optimized for the complete engine.

    This makes it possible to use the engine up to higher rpm than the rev limit of the stock ECU.

    The base map is set up for different camshafts and exhausts.

    The fuel correction and limiter rpm settings from the base map can be easily set by simply turning the rotary switch on the FI-CON PLUS unit with a screwdriver.
