Description
[The street model inherits the performance of the TYPE-GP1]
TYPE-GP1S was introduced to the market as a street model of TYPE-GP1.
Like the TYPE-GP, this 5-spoke model is designed with a one-piece construction, eliminating the attachment mechanism at the hub.
The ribs inside the spokes are curved to achieve the "suppleness" required of a wheel under radial load, aiming for stability under hard braking and high-speed corners.
Furthermore, the number of dampers has been reduced to three to further reduce weight.
It was redesigned and renamed "TYPE-GP1S" so that the lean form and high performance of the TYPE-GP1 can be enjoyed on the street.
