The arm shape has the smooth texture of a forged design with a stiffened tip section.
The tip is offset 10mm forward to prevent cramped riding conditions, even with wide footpegs and off-road boots.
The retractable tip also reduces the risk of breakage from high impact falls.
Forged A2014 material is used for high strength and durability.
The tip section is made of A7079 material, and rust-resistant stainless steel is used for the tip pin, bolt and spring.
