Description
Following on from the fork mounted windshield with its easy removal function, the alternative windshield is a windshield with even more features.
This windshield is designed for use on bikes where the headlight is fixed at two points.
In comparison to fork-mounted windshields, the Alternative windshield is even easier to remove and install, and is designed to be unobtrusive without leaving the mounting brackets.
The windshield is also equipped with a gimmick to express the product name: Alternative.
[One bracket for both windshield and bikini cowl]
The mounting bracket was originally designed to fit the DS-01 bikini cowl.
This allows for quick and easy installation and removal of the bikini cowl as well as the windshield.
[Special bolt for quick release]
The special bolt developed for the bikini cowl was developed from scratch from the design drawings.
The material used is stainless steel which is resistant to corrosion and rust.
[Short and middle windshield types available]
The windshield is available in two sizes, short and smoked.
The short windshield is a small windshield, but it reduces the wind that hits the center of the body.
The short windshield is a small windshield that reduces the wind in the center of the body, especially when driving on highways.
The middle windshield is larger and wider than the short windshield, so it reduces the wind over a wider area.
Even the bolts have been designed with an eye to detail
The bolts that hold the windshield brackets in place are hexagon socket head bolts.
Initially we used small truss head screws for better appearance, but it was difficult to apply torque when installing, so we decided to use hexagon socket head bolts.
The material is stainless steel.

The windshield color is available in clear and smoke type.
You can choose the color to match the color of your bike, but if you have a bike that is difficult to see the meter due to sunlight, the smoked type will make it a little easier to see.
