Description
[Product Description] This front fork kit absorbs shock from the road and improves road tracking for a more stable ride. In consideration of the wheelbase of 8-inch wheel bikes and the operability in sports driving, the original front fork pursues the optimum fork length, stroke volume, and damper structure for 8-inch wheels. A free valve type damping force generation mechanism has been adopted to reduce shock on rebound.
â– Top Bridge and Steering Stem The back side has been processed to be lightweight. Steering lock bracket included. Choice of two offsets: 40mm or 60mm offset from stem center to fork center. 60mm offset provides the best wheelbase for big displacement and big torque, and improves handling stability. 40mm offset is available in silver and black, 60mm offset is available in silver only. There are two types for the Monkey, one for the stock folding handlebar and the other for the bar handlebar. Gorilla and other models are only available for bar handlebars. For those who prefer the stock style of folding handlebars, a special top bridge is included to allow the attachment of stock folding handlebars/handle holders. For bar handle only for Monkey and Gorilla, you will need to remove the stock folding handlebar and purchase a separate handlebar pipe for Monkey. For Gorilla, you can use the stock handlebar.
â– Disc Brake Specification Lightweight die-cast wheel hubs and stainless steel disc rotors are used. The surface of the wheel hub is barrel polished. The 1-piece disc rotor is made of stainless steel for superior durability and resistance to rust.
■Parts to be purchased separately - Brake lever assy. 06-08-3002 or Quick brake lever 06-08-3005 - headlight bracket for phi 27 fork 09-03-007 - blinker bracket for phi 27 fork 05-08-0002 *compatible with both stock and SP Takegawa blinkers. - SP Takegawa sells a wide variety of handlebar pipes. - Speedometer cable needs to be changed depending on the handlebar pipe used. - Requires SP Takegawa High Throttle. Depends on the carburetor used. 　For Monkey (FI) models, High Throttle (without cable) 09-02-0223 is required. - For bikes with frame No. Z50J-1300017?1510400, the following parts are required. 　Combination switch ASSY. 02-01-015 　For manual clutch cars, clutch lever is required in addition to 02-01-015, please purchase Standard Clutch Lever Assembly (Black) 02-01-028 for bikes equipped with SP Takegawa clutch cover. 　If the clutch cover is stock, please purchase the standard clutch lever and cable set. 　Various cable lengths and lever colors are available.
