Description
Excellent performance on the Sand Mud Track
"GEOMAX MX12" is a tire exclusive to motocross competition for Sand Mud Road surface. It has been developed with DUNLOP'S latest technology cultivated in Japan and international races.
It is possible to obtain traction at acceleration, side grip at cornering from the DUNLOP conventional product (GEOMAX MX11) by adopting the new pattern and the new tire cross-section shape, and it improves shock absorbing and excellent performance on the Sand Mud Track.
The corresponding vehicle is a motocross competition vehicle from 250cc to 450cc.
[Features]
V-BT(V-Block Technology)
The optimal block angle, placement, and shape of the sand mud surface are used in the rear tire to improve traction and slide control performance during acceleration and turning.
PCBT(Progressive Cornering Block Technology)
The height of the block surface of the shoulder block of the rear tire was set to two levels, the tire scratches the road surface "raising edge effect", enhancing traction at acceleration, side grip at cornering and slide controllability by the technology (PCBT) to make the two-step block shape. It is possible to corner more stable.
CTCS (Carcass Tension Control System)
The tire's shape is optimized, and the tire outer diameter increases compared with conventional products (GEOMAX MX11), thereby improving traction performance by increasing the ground length of the road surface. In addition, it improves the shock absorbing performance by increasing the amount of deflection of the tire.

Caution
*Please use the tire corresponding vehicle on the publication as a reference. There are cases that the actual wearing size is different. The size may differ due to minor change, special specification vehicle and customized situation depending on the vehicle type even it has the same vehicle name, engine displacement, and model. Please make sure to check the tube, size, speed symbol, load index, tire type etc. of the tire that is actually mounted, and please select size/pattern by yourself.
*For motocross tire, it is impossible to use on the public road.
*Please select a size matching the machine displacement and a pattern matching the road surface when selecting the size and pattern. It is not particularly a soft road surface for a pattern only detract from the and driving performance for use in the hard road, and it might damage the premature wear and patterns.
*For a tire with "Rotation direction indication arrow (→)" displayed on the side of the tire, please make rim assembly according to the direction of the arrow and attach it to the vehicle.
*Please use foreign objects and scratches inside and outside of the tire, and those not damaged by significant deformation such as deformation or cracking of the rim and no significant corrosion when assembling the rim.
*Please use a tube/bead stopper that is not damaged.
*Please do not use tires that have trauma or rubber crack reaching the cord layer.
*Please make sure to use a grease for rim assembling when assembling the rim.
*Please adjust to 500 kPa (5.0 kg/cm 2) or less because the pressure control valve of the air compressor may rupture the tire.
*For bead seating pressure during tire assembly, please do not inject pressure exceeding 300 kPa (3.0 kgf/cm 2) or less. Bead seating is a state in which the beads on both sides of the tire are equally spaced around the bead seat of the rim when assembling the tire.
*Please take safety measures such as placing the tire in the safety enclosure and then fill the air in order to avoid the possibility of explosion.
*Please measure the tire pressure with the tire cold before running.
*The air pressure will drop naturally. Please make sure to adjust before riding. In the case of a motocross tire, running on a hard road surface at an air pressure of 50 kPa (0.5 kgf/cm 2) or less for a long time may damage the tire cord.
*Please keep the tire in an upright position to avoid rain, heat, oil, direct sunlight and near electric appliances that generate electric sparks.
