Description
This speed sensor kit picks up speed pulses from the rotation of the wheel.
This is necessary when the stock speed sensor cannot be used due to the replacement of the transmission assembly when using a speedometer.In addition, the pulse can be fine-tuned by changing the tire size.
If you use a 5 speed cross transmission, the gear layout will change and the stock sensor will not be able to read the gear speed.
This product acquires the RPM from the rear sprocket bolt and converts it into pulses for the stock meter.
